In the first phases of the recording process, I wanted to try different things since I had no clear plan. Peter Bruijs and I have been friends for more than 25 years, he is a talented musician who contributed to my earlier CD’s and so I invited him to the studio this time as well. I had no clear plan for the CD and I thought that maybe the sound of the accordion could be a nice addition. We recorded several tracks, some of which were quite nice, but soon we found that they did not really match the other tracks we were making. Still, we had a fun day when Peter was in the studio and here you can listen to one of the recordings we made. Maybe one day I will make a klezmer-CD and I can still use it!
